I think this would work great at any hackerspace/makerspace, shop or even in the office. One of the legs on this table is a multiplug power strip.
Creating this may get a little tough, some knowledge of electronics is a must but also you’d want to go that extra step and actually make it a surge protector with a fuse and all. I’m giving this a difficulty level of 4 It’s tough but if you know the right people, the electronics part may come easy.
